My beautiful wife, Melissa, and I are the proud parents of three of the best (and orneriest) children in the world.  Their names are Mariah, Josiah, and Hannah.

I am a 1995 graduate of Lincoln Christian College.  From January of 1994 until September of 2003 I was in the Youth Ministry.  Throughout those years I ministered in the Illinois communities of Neoga, Beardstown, and Oakland, but not all at the same time because that would require me to be superhuman, and well, I’m not.  In November of 2003 I joined the group and I am loving every minute of it.  I thank God for the opportunity to serve in this type of ministry.

Music has always been a part of my life.  Whether I am singing it, playing it, or just listening to it, it has a powerful influence in who I am and who I want to become.  I love music!

My musical influences come from all directions.  From orchestra to jazz and pop to metal, they all have had some influence on my musical tastes and how I play.  I am partial to the big hair bands and classic metal sounds of the 80’s if the truth must be known.  My favorite secular artists include Dream Theater, Liquid Tension, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Tower of Power, and The Rippingtons.  My favorite Christian artists include Narnia, Stryper, Petra, Newsboys, Bride, Whitecross, and Guardian.

My hobbies and interests include basketball, golf, softball, ping-pong, paintball, Mello-Yello, Bit-O-Honey, Honey Comb cereal, Andes Mints, word searches, sleeping, flight simulator computer games, watching movies with my wife, and the Orlando Magic.  Oh yeah, and drumming.  DUH!
