Todd Keating

I began playing music over thirty years ago. I have played many instruments during my life, but it was not until I picked up the electric bass in 1983 that I knew I had found my passion.

I have played in more bands than I can remember, playing all different styles of music. I enjoy playing bass regardless of the style, but my favorite music is rock and roll. I have learned to enjoy listening to and playing classical, jazz, folk, and blues, but I always come back to rock and roll.

For you gear hounds, here’s what I play:

Basses:
- Carvin B4
- Yamaha BB1200S

Amplifiers:
- QSC RMX 850 Power Amplifier
- Peavey Max preamplifier
- Tech 21 Bass Compactor compressor
- Hartke 3500 head
- Eden CXC 212 cabinet
- Two homemade 1 x 15’s (JBL 2225H)

“It was for freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” -- Galatians 5:1
