We Came…
We Saw… and,
We Were Conquered!

Have you ever measured a day by a heartbeat instead of a clock? Have you ever taken a trip that was just past your imagination? Have ever been somewhere and returned home and wondered… “Did that really happen?” Well, we just did. Seven of us lucky people from Living Word recently left on a “Mission Trip,” … but, returned from a “Family Reunion!”

Have you ever been met at the airport by 30 to 40 of your family members at 1:00 am holding big signs that say “Benvinidos (Welcome)?” Have you ever been hugged and given kisses every day by a least 20 to 30 children and adults? Have you ever been given gifts of dance and song that go into the wee hours of the night? Have you ever had family that would very frequently turn to look at you and give a smile as wide as the face and wave? Have you ever had family that just wanted to sit close to you and touch you from time to time? And, when you had to leave and return to your home, have you ever had 30 to 40 family members surprise you at the airport just to hug you goodbye and sing you a song?

This sounds like something “just beyond your imagination!” It wasn't! It happened! All of us that went still pinch ourselves and cannot wait to have another “Family Reunion!”
